Terms of Service

Last updated: July 25, 2026
⚠️ Draft — not yet in effect. Nidori LLC is in the process of formation, and these Terms are a working draft. They should be reviewed by a lawyer and finalized before Nidori launches. Placeholders below are marked.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nidori mobile application and related services ("Nidori," "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Nidori is a product of Nidori LLC (a Washington limited liability company — formation pending). Until formation is complete, the Service is operated by its founder. References to "we," "us," or "Nidori" mean the operator of the Service.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Accounts are created and managed by adults or guardians. Children are added to a household and managed under a parent or guardian's account — children do not create their own accounts. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Nidori is offered as a paid subscription (Starter or Premium) with a 14-day free trial. Subscriptions are sold and billed through Apple In-App Purchase, managed via RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your Apple ID after any free-trial period. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Because billing is handled by Apple, refunds are subject to Apple's App Store policies; requests are made through Apple, not Nidori. Canceling stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the paid period.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, using it to harass others, or violating any applicable law. Nidori is designed for household coordination among family members; don't use it for unlawful or abusive purposes.

6. Dori and AI-generated content

Dori is an AI coach. Her messages are generated automatically and are intended to be helpful and encouraging, not professional advice. Nidori is not a substitute for parenting judgment, medical, legal, or financial advice.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nidori and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes are subject to the state and federal courts located in Washington.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
